Targets
Targets are the results our school expects to achieve over a
three-year period in improving student achievment and performance. We have
targets for academic areas and for student conduct.

By June 2003, the percentage of fourth grade students scoring below standard
in math problem solving will decrease by 15%.

By June 2003, 75% of sixth graders will perform at or above the Standards
on English/Language Arts and mathematics using standards-based curriculum
assessments.

By June 2003, 75% of sixth graders will perform at or above the standard
on a writing performance assessment using the state-scoring rubric.

By June 2003, all students will participate in at least one school-based
activity such as the arts, clubs, enrichment programs, and/or athletics
to promote social and personal growth.
