Working with Your School
Initiatives
Digital Portfolios can help you tie a number of your initiatives together. Schools have linked portfolios to:
- Curriculum Maps.
As part of the Curriculum 21 initiative, schools are using curriculum maps to track student work and digital portfolios to link student work. Together, these efforts provide a unique feedback loop that help teachers become more reflective practicioners.
- Individual Learning Plans / Student Success Plans.
Richer Picture portfolios allow each student to set their own personal goals - career, academic, social - and to follow up their individual progress. Students can track their extracurricular activities over time.
- School Accreditation .
If you are preparing for a school visit or improving your schoolwide rubrics, Richer Picture can help you collect teacher assignments and student work that demonstrate your school's expectations.
- International Bacceleureate.
Schools can use Richer Picture to link student work to areas of inquiry as part of the Primary Year Program (PYP), Middle Year Program (MYP) or Diploma Program.
- Senior / Capstone Projects.
Richer Picture can help you track student progress throughout the whole process of creating a project - and help your students create presentations for your panelists.
